A quiet summer for stitching

As with most summers I temporarily relinquish my sewing to spend time with my happy family...

This year my eldest boy of 20 years was ready to fly the nest.  So after we wished him farewell the other 2 lovelies and I floated through the summer months somewhere between friends and adventures until it was time to put the uniforms on again!

I did however manage to grow a small crop of tomatoes, what a delight they are, just the colour to enter the autumn with.

Going green

Today I'm going green in the garden.  I'd forgotten how much I enjoy changing the colours of things....  A small moment with a packet of Dye can make everything seem so much greener.
